The 3700PL Flashlight is outfitted with a lens ring that emits a bright glow in the dark. The new generation photo luminescent material in the plastic absorbs the energy from any light source - fluorescent lights, the sun, or even the flashlight's own beam. No more fumbling in the dark for your flashlight. Big Ed is Pelican's new right-angle flashlight specifically designed for fire fighters. The flashlight body is made of Xenon®, an unbreakable chemical resistant resin, with a polycarbonate lens and thermoplastic rubber shroud. The powerful Xenon lamp produces an unparalleled bright, long distance beam. A spare lamp is included as a secondary lamp. The unique push-button "Quick Change Battery Ejection System" allows the user to change the battery pack, 4C cell alkaline batteries (not included), without the use of tools. Big Ed™ can be carried comfortably in the hand, worn on a shoulder strap or clipped to a turnout coat by its stainless steel clip. Big Ed™ is water-resistant (not for diving applications) and available with a personal identification decal. The back up lamp is 4.5 watt (as opposed to the primary that is 7.2watts) so the lumen value will drop to 18 and the burn time will extend to 4 hours.
